For 5 months, my teenage child and myself have been receiving texts from gmail addresses with porn site links. I have read through forum after forum and nothing seems to stop this. They are all addressed to the old [phonenumber]@vzwpix.com email that Verizon used to use. There has to be some way that Verizon can go in and disable all of those email addresses so people can't send that dirt anymore.
Making sure that your child's line isn't receiving inappropriate messages is important. However, Verizon along with other phone carriers do not have the option to automatically remove any customers' information from these sites. You will need to set up Spam controls and block email addresses on your end. Our Call Filter service can allow you to block unwanted phone numbers from calling or texting but this cannot be used for blocking the email messages. What questions do you have for us?
