I preordered two iPhone 15 Pros on Sept 15th, with an expected delivery day of Sept 22nd. Once that date passed the delivery date was updated to the Sept 29th. Once the 29th came and went, I attempted to chat with Verizon twice with no solution provided. Once Customer Service person told me to cancel my original order and order two new phones, but could not tell me when the new phones would be delivered. I declined that option and asked if I could get an updated delivery date.
It has been three weeks since I ordered with two separate delivery dates and now it is still saying being delivered on Sept 29th and no one can provide any additional help. Spent two hours trying to get help on the Verizon Chat to come away with no updated delivery date or assistance.

Follow up from chatting with Customer Service. I was informed the phones will now SHIP on Oct 20th, 5 weeks after I preordered.
Lesson Learned - do not preorder new phones online, wait until phones are in store.

I understand it is back-ordered. My issue is Verizon knows they haven't filled orders already past due and still telling people October 6 the phone will be available. I ordered the phone on September 29 and was told would be delivered on October 6. I get zero emails or correspondence or phone calls informing me my iPhone 15 pro Max will not be delivered on time. Instead it still States deliver on October 6 but it hasn't shipped. If anyone thinking of ordering this phone now with Verizon you won't get it on the date promised. I am thinking of canceling but I don't want to mess up my trade in.

All of these struggles sound familiar unfortunately. As mentioned above, we ordered in September 23 with expected delivery dates of 10/6. That day came and went with no update whatsoever. I phone Verizon this week, spending about 3 total hours of my time only to find out that the store rep didn’t perform all of the necessary steps when assisting us AND a supposed computer glitch prevented us from being alerted to needing to update our payment. They said I needed to update my payment info by 10/1. However, the only notice I got was to see that my card had been declined on 10/10 for no reason. The link they sent me to update payment information was expired (received on 10/10 but it apparently expired 10/1). At the end of my calling and asking questions, I found out my order was essentially frozen in the system and was cancelled. I was apparently never going to receive an update from Verizon. Bad all around experience. The third person I spoke to on the phone about this was very helpful and told me the only solution was to cancel and reorder. She was very thorough and ensured all the necessary steps were taken before ending the call. Now we expect the phones delivered 10/20 and 10/27. I’m calmly holding my breath on this. But overall, very negative experience with Verizon and how this was handled up until the last rep who was helpful.

I pre-ordered my 15 Pro Max Blue from Apple on 9/15 in the first ten minutes. I then picked up at the Apple Store on 9/22 after 8:00 AM. My first time like that, that was the way to go.
i ordered my wife’s 15 Pro Max Natural from the app Apple Store on 9/15 about 11:00AM. Ship Date was supposed to be 10/6 through 6/13. Now on 10/16 with the same dates, we hope to get it before Christmas., Probably should have picked up her iPhone15 at the Apple Store, too. Those dates and times probably don’t change.

Hello, I ordered two new iPhone 15 pro maxes for myself and my wife. I ordered the black one and she picked the white. We purchased these in a Verizon company store and the rep told us that my black version would be delivered on 10/6 and the white version to be delivered on 10/13. The Verizon app said mine would ship on 10/6. That day came and went, no shipment and absolutely no email or updated delivery date. Verizon customer service via phone could not help and said there will be no update or communication to me about dates (seems a bit unhelpful). My wife and need these new phones as our iPhone X and XS max are not working well anymore. I would appreciate if someone from Verizon could help this inquiry along and help us get some better answers! We are frustrated because we paid in store and our account hasn’t been debited and this affects our monthly budgeting greatly. Also, we are concerned about theft and need to have a more concrete answer of when we can expect these devices. Thanks.
Also, if it help, we ordered in store on 9/23.

I preordered my 15 pro max on September 15th with an expected delivery date of October 6th. That date has come and passed with no delivery or any email or updated email information on my order through the Verizon app. In fact it still says my order is expected to deliver on October 6th which is hilarious due to it now being the 9th. My order was confirmed and said “ready to ship” for the last 2 and a half weeks. Calling customer service and checking in on my phone order it tells me my shipment date is now Nov 17th! So I go from ordering the phone on the preorder launch date to having to wait 2 months when people are getting them in stores are you kidding me!! I’ve been a loyal customer since 2009 and this is beyond disappointing and ridiculous. I don’t want to but think it’s time to look at other services providers.
