feeeeebie, this is a smart move for you. Prepaid service is a great option with no contractual agreement. At this time, 4G devices are not compatible with prepaid service. However, click http://www.verizonwireless.com/prepaid/smartphone-plans/ to view the Smartphones that are compatible.

You can just change phones on your existing plan and number. Do it either at verizonwireless.com, through customer care or by dialing *228 and choosing option 1.

Hi Doug1977Dougmoore1977,
Congrats on the iPhone! What iPhone did you get? You can only activate the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s on a prepaid account. What phone are you currently using? If you have a smart phone now, then there were not be a problem with activating the iPhone. If you currently have a basic device, then you would have to change plans. Please reach out to our Prepaid Team with questions 800-294-6804. Let us know if we can help with anything else.
Thanks, BobbyS_VZw
