My device and my adult daughters phone have suddenly synced up or something so we can see each others messages and photos. Messages from her contacts are coming to my phone.

Are these Verizon Message+ messages or iMessages? If, Message+ then the app may have been installed using the same phone number/login profile and Integrated Messaging is in place on the two lines.
