Recent trip to Verizon - updating phone - lied to

We brought our son to the local Verizon store in Foxboro and he was exchanging his Android to an iPhone 13. I told the representative numerous times that I just wanted to keep our monthly bill at what it is currently, so I paid $400 toward his phone. She told us that if he traded in his phone and also got the Apple watch (due to a promotion) that we would not see ANY increase in our monthly bill. our suprise, our monthly bill has not only increased but she neglected to tell us that there would be a monthly fee for his watch - WHICH WE DIDN'T EVEN WANT! We have been Verizon customers for close to 20 years and now are considering going to another company. My number is 508-930-1520 and would love to be contacted.
