SIM Failure

My iPhone XR is having a SIM failure. I've tried popping out the tray multiple times, and I have restarted the phone.

I'm unable to access the 2FA codes to login to my account and talk to to support because of the SIM Failure.

Is it possible to get an eSIM activated on my phone so I don't have to replace the card?
