Why do I get 3 or 4 of the same message, one right after another, from the same person?

Help is right here for you! Repeated messages can certainly be a nuisance. Let’s get this figured out for you once & for all. When did this issue start happening? (A few days ago? A few weeks ago?) Are these messages you are receiving from this one particular person an iPhone user where you are receiving them as iMessages? (A way to tell if you’re receiving the message as an iMessage is the message bubble will be blue.) Is your phone software up to date? You can check by going to Settings – General – Software Update.
