Sending a text to my email address.

Very recently I can no longer send a text message to one of my email addresses.  Works with my gmail email, but not to my personal email.  Same problem for my daughter.

Couple days later I get a text back that says:  (Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender)  This is the mail system at host twbgohaavzwvmta-c-rh-cmta-01-sms00vtex.

Please help.

I'm having the same issue sending to my personal email.  Gmail will receive the text to email.  What can I do to fix this?

Hello, chadgoze, I'm sorry to hear you're running into an issue with your email. What is happening when trying to send a message to your email? You mentioned that Gmail is working. Is this with another email provider?

This is to a different email provider that I manage.  It was working in October but now isn't in November.  I receive the following message:

(Undelieved Mail Returned to Sender) This is the mail system at host twbgohaavzwmta-c-

I have 3 users asking why their verizon texts no longer come to their work email. 

When I tested, got "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender This is the mail system at host twbgohaavzwvmta-c-rh-cmta-01-mms-oo-vt" and also host "twbgohaavzwvmta-c-". 

Not enough info to troubleshoot.  Searched our firewall logs, and found nothing - no attempt to connect from Verizon MX server IPs.

I'm still having similar issues.  There isn't any support or contact to help troubleshoot the emails being converted/sent.  Who can be contacted to help with the routing/logs to these text to email messages?

Hi, I have given up on this.  Verizon says if it works for Gmail, then it is not their problem.  I then contacted DreamHost, where my email domain is, and they said send the bounced email header, etc.  Well of course we do not have this and I am sure Verizon would not either, so basically, they just point fingers at each other and we lose.  If you do figure anything out, please let me know.  Sorry and thanks!!

    I just started having the same issue.  It's almost certainly a Verizon problem!!!!

No, Dreamhost needs the full info from the bounced email...if it was even bounced since it never got to Dreamhost!!!  I think problem is at your end.  Just tried again an hour ago, has not made it to my email.

    Totally concur this is Verizon's problem, and they apparently don't care about fixing it.

     They clearly have a mailhost that sends email messages since I can successfully send to Gmail (but not pacbell.net)

      That mailhost must certainly operate in accordance with the RFCs for mail (unless Verizon is totally technically inept.)

       Again, unless Verizon is totally technically inept, that any properly configured mailhost creates a log entry every time it attempts tot send a message, and that log will show that the distant mailhost either accepted the message, or "bounced" it and, in the latter case, the reason it bounced.

      Why they can't check those logs is beyond me, other that they don't care!

does work to my gmail account.  It doesn't work going to yahoo or to my work account.
