Niece’s phone line got suspended. Called up Verizon and was told because she was on a phone call for longer than 14 hours (fell asleep while on the phone with a friend after already being on the phone with them for hours prior). They said her phone is to be suspended for 3 days for doing 1 call for 14 consecutive hours without hanging up then calling back. She has unlimited talk and text. Never heard of this before.

According to Verizon website, Verizon may suspend a phone line if it's being used to make too long calls in order to prevent unauthorized charges or usage. So it sounds like another way they are screwing people over.
