Terrible customer service

Went to the Monroe Street Verizon store in Toledo Ohio to upgrade my daughter’s iPhone.  We knew exactly what we wanted (iPhone 13-128 gb) and mentioned it several times. My daughter started the process of activating her new phone and noticed it said 256 gb.  Sure enough, the sales associate upgraded without our knowledge!  When we went to the store to get it straightened out, the associate swore up and down that the 256 gb was what we asked for and the manager backed him up.  They argued with my daughter and basically called her a liar.   He said we would have to pay a $50 restock fee for the exchange FOR HIS MISTAKE!!!  We have been long time customers and I can’t believe the horribly rude “customer service” at this store.
