Text massages are using my daughter’s data -

Our plan is unlimited text massages. I have a setting through the family plan that limits her data. When her date usage limit is met it stops her text massages. In other words her text messages are consuming her data! What setting needs to be changed so that her text messages do not consume data (regardless if she in connected to wifi or not, this should not be a factor)?

She's got an iPhone and is using iMessages.  iMessage uses data, not the Verizon SMS system.  Switch to using all SMS and the problem goes away.
