I am unable to send or receive messages from Some of my contacts, the most frequent ones I use. I can still call these numbers and talk or message through Facebook, just not through Verizon iPhone. Is Berizon trying to force me to upgrade”buy”another phone. These tactics won’t work. I will, hoy, move all lines and services to T-Mobile. I am tired of the tactics.

Hello, Patsannallen, sorry to hear you're running into an issue with messaging specific contacts! We can definitely understand it's important to be able to communicate, especially since these are contacts you frequently speak to. Please know we do not have the ability to add blocks for certain contacts and we wouldn't force you to purchase a new phone. Can you tell us more about what's going on when trying to message with these contacts? What troubleshooting steps have been attempted so far? Are the users you're running into an issue with using Android or iPhones?

What model iPhone do you have? If it doesn't have iOS 18, then RCS texts aren't supported, which I suspect is the issue with why you aren't getting some texts, because Android users have been using RCS format for texting for quite some time.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
