So I got the $70/mo plan for two lines and traded two phones in for credits. I reassessed my budget and I can’t afford the higher plan. I swapped to the $55/mo plan for both lines, but I’m worried about the credits translating. Will it be fine and will I still retain the same credits or do I have to switch back to the $70 plans??

I hope you don't end up losing your credits, as they were assigned to your original plan and changing it is essentially bailing out of a contract. Would not recommend returning to the more expensive plan as the credits won't automatically come back. You would simply be paying more.

when I switched it in the app it said nothing about the credits or anything so I’m like confused and I only thought about it after the fact. Like how do I know if this is a problem?? I tried to discuss it with the employee I originally bought it with over text but he ignored me.

I'd try calling the number at the top of the screen, live chat, or clicking on the Support link on the right side of the forum page. Something tells me you don't get told anything when you change your plan, but then your bill is messed up next month. 😒 Sadly, Verizon is rough to deal with, but maybe if you're proactive enough...

I already called the customer service line twice now and we sorted it all out. They are allowing me to have the full credits as expected despite the plan change since two representatives had already previous assured me it would be good to go. Problem solved and I’m pleased that they helped sort it out. Ty
