I'm getting ready to leave my current job and my employer is going to transfer my number to me. They told me that I will need to have an account with Verizon before they can make this transfer. Since I do not currently have the number, I could only register an account with my email address. Is there any other step that I need to take in order to be able to accept the number? I am unable to do anything else with my profile without an account or phone number.
