TravelPass Not working in Chennai India

I am in Chennai India. Travel pass is activated. I can connect to local network Airtel for voice, but the data is not working., Says my phone is not connected to internet.

Spent 45 min with customer service and Tech 2 support. Tried all the things they asked for. Still no success.

Read through communities and reset the network setting - still no success.

Pretty frustrating experience.

Verizon rep who was trying to help me (T2 - Erika) tried to reach out to me multiple times last night. The phone never rang and it went to voicemail directly. She left many messages that showed up this morning only,

International Service from Verizon is TRULY UNRELIABLE. People travel out of country for few days. They should not be expected to spend half their time figuring out how to make Verizon phone work.

Nope. I have no clarity on what is the next steps.

Hands down, this is the worst service experience I have had with Verizon. Reading through other posts in this section, it is a well known problem with Verizon service and the company has chosen not to do anything about it. Majority of threads show no resolution and customers give up on even trying anymore. Pretty Shameful.
