Trouble with conference calls

Recently I started having a problem  with keeping all callers connected during a conference call. It appears that the first person gets dropped in  about 15 seconds after I connect the 2nd caller.  I never had a problem in the past and am curious what may have changed.  Thank you for any ideas.

I'm sorry you were having difficulties. Let's get this fiured out. How are you initiating the conference call? -Joe

Hi Joe,

When I get the first caller on the line, I press the ‘add’ button and dial the 2nd participant. Once the 2nd participant answers, I press ‘merge’ calls.   Typically, I get all 3 of us on the line but after about 5-10 seconds, the 1st person gets dropped.  I use the conference call feature often so I hope we can figure it out!!  Thanks!

Thank you for the details. Have there been any changes to the device before this started? ~Peter

Hi Peter,

The only change that I can think of is perhaps the last iPhone  update, maybe?   Otherwise,  I don’t recall making any changes.

Thank you for this info. Does this happen to calls while being on Wi-Fi? Does this happen while changing locations? ~Geo

It happens when I’m connected to WIFI and also when I’m n connected to cellular.   Also happens when I’m just staying put.

Good afternoon Soobie423.  Thanks for reaching out again about the troubles you are having with the conference calls.  What model of phone are you using for these calls?

Thanks for those details. How long have you been running into an issue with conference calls? Does it help to power your phone off? Have any additional troubleshooting steps been completed so far?
