Verizon uses deceptive advertising to lure customers into contracts. In 2023 we were offered free IPhones, IPad & Apple watches to induce us too switch from AT&T to Verizon at the Palatine, IL location.
Recently I wanted to upgrade my Apple watch from a SE to a Series 9 using another promotion ( a $185 trade in on my ES Apple watch)
I was told I still owe $241 on my ES series Apple Watch.
I investigated further and found out I owe on every IPhone,Tablet & watches.
NONE of this was laid out in BLACK & WHITE when we signed the very lengthy agreement.
The agent from Verizon stated the complaint I was making is common place.
When we switched to Verizon from AT&T you needed all new devices, but fast forward too today you can use old equipment and now switch carriers without all new equipment
