Keep getting error "Unable to Transfer Phone Number - You phone number could not be transferred to this iPhone because your account is ineligible for transfer."
Going from iPhone 13 Pro to iPhone 15 Pro Max

Moving your number to a new phone is always exciting, kryberg1979. It sounds like you may be trying to activate a new iPhone and switch things over from an iPhone 13 Pro to an iPhone 15 Pro. Is this correct?

Is this for a prepaid account or a postpaid account? Are you switching accounts or carriers? There isn't enough information to provide suggestions for why this might be a problem.

A few suggestions as to why a line won't transfer:
-You owe money on the old iPhone
-There is some other outstanding balance on the account in question
-Your line is under someone else's account and you're not the Account Owner or Account Manager
-You're trying to transfer a line from postpaid to prepaid, or vice versa (this is more complicated than it looks, and only the Inside Sales department can handle this)
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
