Unable to Transfer Phone Number

I pre-ordered the new iPhone 16 Pro. I have spent hours trying to activate it but no success. I called support and they kept me on hold for 40 minutes. I was randomly disconnected by them trying to activate the new phone but they disconnected service on my current device, so now I have 2 phones and neither work.

Follow up: due to the numerous agents that attempted to help me over a span of 2 hours but failed, my account was deactivate due to suspicious activity (verizon agents activity) and I was unable to call the fraud department to confirm the activity because my phone lines were disconnected, even support couldn't call me. So now I have to go to a physical Verizon location after spending almost 3 hours on the phone troubleshooting.

Call Verizon, say โ€œActivate phoneโ€ in automated system, turn phone off before u do this. Your phone should be activated if in sos mode, turn โ€œairplane mode โ€œONโ€ then โ€œoffโ€ then it should get it out of sos mode and start working thatโ€™s what I did.
