Unauthorized payment withdrawn from my bank

I purchased an iPhone 14 pro from a Verizon corporate store and received it a week later. Verizon could not import my number and make the phone work.  I returned it within 72 hours and canceled the account - ALL of my money was refunded (minus a small "re-stocking" fee) and the account was closed.

Fast-forward 60+ days, my original phone number is captured by Verizon (???) and my current phone (with another company) goes dead without a phone number. (*&(*&^&*%$$)   It took 3 weeks to get it back from Verizon.

Shortly after that, I started receiving "a bill" for $265 from Verizon - stating "they're shutting off my service" for non-payment. I immediately called, and explained I do not have (nor have I ever had) "service" with Verizon. The rep was awesome! and said she saw everything and would fix it.

Afterward, I received weekly bills via email and monthly bills via USPS increasingly threatening to me and embarrassing to Verizon.  I responded to every email; I've called a second time; I've chatted online twice; and sent a written notice to their customer service mailing address. I have all receipts, recordings, copies of emails, copies of chats, and a text from 2 days ago stating Verizon had received my written communication and were now researching the issue.

TODAY, Verizon used the credit card I used when originally applying for service FIVE MONTHS AGO to fraudulently withdraw the $265 payment from my bank.

If there was ever a reason to despise Verizon and its services, this is it. Zero communication regarding how they're entitled to my money no matter how many times I've reached out.

All could have been easily fixed if they had reviewed any of my original documentation and account closure as the first agent did.

Instead, as little arrogant cowboys, they're each running around their insulated silos of ignorance, high-fiving one another for their great win of taking another $200+ from an unsuspecting individual.

Ridiculous and childish.  No one should be doing business like this. I'm truly sorry for the good people that work at Verizon; they're the ultimate losers.

I'd love to send a Private Message for Verizon Support!

Since there is no button for Private Message Verizon Support and no "name" for Verizon Support was given to send a Private Message to from my dashboard - I am unable to complete this request.

Please copy/paste my current post to Verizon Support if you'd be so kind.

Thank you!
