How can I update my Apple music subscription so it is associated with my new, updated Apple ID?

I was enrolled with an Apple Music free subscription through Verizon based on my calling plan I signed up for and at the time I was using my original Apple ID - [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] - but I upgraded my Samsung phone to the iPhone 14 Max Pro and was told I needed to create a new ID at the time of purchase -![email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]. I would like to switch my music ID on my Verizon subscription so I don't have to keep switching my identity depending on Apple subscriptions I have purchased and listen to music as well.
