In late august. I went to a local Verizon store to see what promotions might be available to upgrade my phone. I was told there was currently a promotion available until the end of the month to upgrade me to an Iphone14 for free as long as I kept my current plan and signed on for another 2 years, which I agreed to. I did have to pay what they called โa service feeโ on my next bill which I wasnโt happy about but didnโt have any choice. So what the sales guy told me would happen on my bills would be an extra fee of $22 for the phone purchase and a credit of the same amount which basically zeroed out this charge. The next bill I got was higher which I was expecting but I was out of town and couldnโt get cell service to view the bill so I just paid it. Next months bill I looked at carefully though. Yep saw the extra $22 charge - but no credit! Called customer service - they said I had to go to the store since the promotion expired . Went to store / explained to salesman the issue. He took my info and said he d look into it and call me when he d resolved it. A week later I still had not heard so I called the store again. That person who answered said they couldnโt do anything until a manager came in which would be 2 days later. 2 days later / still no calls from anyone. I called store again / got the runaround again . So much for being a loyal 20 year plus customer ! At this point I guess I just wonโt pay my bill because I guess thatโs the only way anyone will reach out to me . A shame Verizon has no loyalty to long time customers !!! Anyone know of anyway to reach a higher up person that could get this mess straightened out?

We sincerely appreciate your loyalty for these 20 years and want you to get the promotions you qualify for. We would like to review your situation a little closer. I'll be sending a Private Note, please reply to it, so we can get started.
