Upgrading Issues

Recently I upgraded to the new iphone, and it all went very smoothly.  When I got home to transfer all the data, I found that my new iphone had a separate phone number.  The payments for it are listed with my old account, which I wanted.  Yet the new iphone is not listed on my old account, and it instead has a new number and account associated with the data plan.  I want to transfer it back to my old account and remove my old phone from that data plan, but I'm stumped on what to do.

Aether_Vial, we understand wanting to have your new device on your old plan. To clarify, you now have 2 active accounts with Verizon Wireless? Where did you do the upgrade? Was this in store or over the phone?
