Verizon App Availablity Questions

In 2012, I had a iPhone 4 on Verizon Prepaid. I had it for two years. During this time, I was using Verizon Messages, Verizon Protect, and My Verizon to track data use. In 2014, I got another phone on another carrier. When I came back to Verizon, In January 2016, I activated a iPhone 5c. I downloaded Verizon's Messages+, and VZ Protect. But this time, it tells me that I don't have a Verizon number. I do not have access to my old number, but if I did the app would work. Both prepaid numbers. I would really like to get these apps back. Is there a way that I can be put into the system? I think that all Verizon customers should have the same apps.
