Just curious to find out how long does it take to receive the VZ GC for smartphone trade-ins done and accepted in an authorized Verizon store. We did not receive a submission ID at the time of handing over the phones to the solution specialists but only received a receipt in hand which lists the details of the individual phones handed over and a statement in the receipt as follows:GCRECYCLE01 and the total value. Neither this was followed up with an email with the required ID submission number. Hence unable to get the status online without that number. Do I need to get in touch with the store again for the submission ID number for our phones handed over to them 2 months ago? Does anyone have a similar experience? Your thoughts and advice will be appreciated. Thanks!
I can definitely understand your concerns with not receiving your Verizon Wireless Trade-In Gift Card after so long. Considering you haven't received the necessary submission materials required for the trade-in, please reach out to the Device Recycle Team via this link: http://vz.to/1ilMCnm for further assistance.

Thanks for the reply. Just to reiterate, the trade ins were done at the local Verizon store. They keep giving us the run around either when we call them or visit the store stating that only the store Manager can give us an update and the requested submission ID number . We are having a hard time getting in touch with her. All we need to know is the status of the submission and when we can expect the gift cards due to us. We do have the serial number of the 4 phones traded in listed on the Verizon receipt . The store should have kept us in the loop via email. It's now 2 months since our submission and no updates from them to date. Is there an alternative recourse to find out the status of the trade ins?Thoroughly disappointed with the post sales customer service at the local Verizon store. We are new customers of Verizon wireless and just moved since being long time AT and T customers. We sincerely hope it doesn't become a decision we regret making and that Verizon wireless will set it right .
Same thing just happened to us. Nobody can give us a clear answer and the chat support assistant didn't even take a moment to understand our situation and just blurted an answer. Starting to regret signing up with Verizon.
Update: Finally found the giftcard on an email.
