I ordered 2 iphone 15s for the kids in September. I had 2 promos to trade in their Iphone 12 minis. One was $830 trade in credit but I had to change the plan to a premium plan. The other offer was a $730 promo where they could keep the unlimited welcome plan. I confirmed that the iphone 12 mini was in the list of accepted phones and confirmed that they could keep the welcome plan via chat and in store. I placed the order and they only gave me a $200 credit for $5 per month vs $20.27 per month.
I have spent 3 hours on chat trying to resolve this and a total of 9.5 hours on the phone with 4 different agents with no resolution. They keep saying I had to change the plan or that the phones didnt qualify when that's not true. I have asked for a supervisor twice today only to be hung up on after a 1.5hrs on the phone and a 3 hr phonecall.
I am at my wits end and at this point looking at tmobile option to buyout my phones and leave verizon. Anyone have ideas before I do that? I am beyond frustratred and if they don't honor the promo it will boil my blood to stay with verizon.
