I have a PC running Windows Vista with iTunes ver 12.1.3.6. I have about 200 CD's loaded in iTunes and have synced the music to a Nano, iPad, and my old iPhone 4. I finally upgraded my iPhone to an SE but I can't get iTunes to recognize the new phone. When I plug the phone in iTunes throws this error: "The iPhone SE cannot be used because it requires a newer version of iTunes."
Of course, I have upgraded the iTunes on both devices and nothing has changed.
How do I get my music to sync to the SE?
Thanks in advance for any help.

As mentioned, in order to get the latest iTunes update (and likely the one needed for your iPhone especially if it has iOS 10 on it and perhaps ios 9...not sure about that though) you would need at least Windows 7 on your PC. 12.5.1 is the latest version of itunes so see if you can update (requirements show that you need Windows 7 or later so you may not be able to). You would either need to update your Windows or use a different computer. Not sure if you can still update to Windows 10 for free but you can check on Microsoft website.
You are running Vista which probably does not support the newest version of iTunes. Upgrade to Windows 7, 8, 10.
