Why are odd locations coming up for local numbers that are NOT spam.

Just recently my local phone calls for people calling me that I know are coming up with a location listed on the call as Louisiana or Montana or just weird locations. They used to say Lansdale where the phone number is actually calling from. Did Verizon mess up the codes?

CardinalWinery, thank you for reaching out to us in regard to your concerns with certain numbers coming up as spam. To ensure that we can better assist, can you please tell us if you're currently using the Verizon Call Filter app? Also, what is the make and model of the device that you're working with?-Kevin
