I just switched to Verizon from Sprint and now have an iPhone 6s Plus, previously I was able to text messaging when I placed orders or had delivery from Amazon, but when I send my verification code from amazon it never shows on my new apple.

That may be an issue on Amazons end and not the iPhone. Have you contacted their CS to see what the problem may be?

Sorry to hear about any trouble with receiving text messages from Amazon. Let's see if we can get you some help with that. Are you able to receive text messages from phone users? If so, it could be an issue on Amazon's end.
