Why is the call hanging up?

When I am on the phone with a certain person all of the sudden the call will disconnect and it will say, "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. We're sorry, the number you have dialed has calling restrictions that prevented the completion of your call." It happens quite often every time we are on the phone. Why would this be happening? I’ve seen people comments saying it never connects and that is the first message they hear, but my call connects first for several minutes even then I get that message.

Hello my name is Marie. And the same thing happens to me while I’m on the call with the certain person, who also is a Verizon carrier while I’m speaking to him on the phone, it disconnects and tells me that there are restrictions and it hangs up. This is becoming very annoying because we have to keep calling each other back and neither one of us are blocked from each other because we’re already speaking on the phone replying into this message not sure how to send a message. It’s the same thing

The only things I can think of right now...

-One or both numbers used to belong to someone else and they had it blocked on My Verizon before, and this block was never cleared from the system

-If the numbers in question have always been yours or yours for a long time, maybe you'd blocked the number in My Verizon some time ago and need to remove it from the blocked list in your account (since the phones in question don't show the numbers as being blocked?)
