Will i still get my iPhone on 9/21 if I pre-order now?

I was looking to preorder the new iphone after looking it over for a while and in the store it said it would ship by 10/5. I don't know if it said this for everyone, but if it isnt going to arrive until 10/5 i really see no point in preordering it.

My question is whether or not i will still receive my phone somewhere near the release date of 9/21 if i were to pre-order it now

No if you pre order right now you'll get it when it specifies. Only those who pre ordered the 14th will get it 21

You can still get it 21 if you go wait in line at an apple store other wise pre ordering will be delayed

I ordered mine on 9/14 around 1:00 pm and my email says "deliver by 9/26".  I ordered over the phone at Verizon Wireless.

That is a great question. The best way to confirm the date of shipment is by going to http://bit.ly/RWWFB. This will give you the correct information regarding the shipment and delivery dates.

I pre-ordered mine on the 14th and am set to receive it on the 5th of October. Though it makes little difference to me since I am in Shanghai China until the 30th of September, but ordering it on the 14th does not guarantee a 21st of September delivery...

Just depends what time you ordered it. They (verizon) pushed back the date to 28th around 9am est.

Yeah it’s unfortunate. I ordered around 330 am est because that’s when the U.S. Apple Store came back online in China. I don’t mind waiting the extra week for the phone.
