Gerio i understand and believe u did u buy them at the store?

This below is comments from cs

So When they told me noone has b2a since 4s came out there wrong. When they said everywhere u cant there wrong. Still now can't I understand it's still backordered but there putting it on the list with the razor as iconic. Iconic status means u can't bill 2 account. All iPhones are sold out they said. They retired iPhone 4 maybe the shouldn't have. Razor is not backordered though. They would rather have people pay immediately then bill 2 account I guess. It's more profitable that way In the immediate time frame.

I'm not saying its right but it's a business. It used to be u could bill 2 account anything but now they have a list not to bill. Can u believe it's been 2 months almost. Iphone4 u could after 1 month i thought every other iPhone would be less popular meaning this one would be less popular then the next one would be more popular plus all carriers but tmobile have them. They should have made sure they had alot more then they did. Now they will know for next time.

Moral of the story rules change but not all cs reps know them so they get u set to think something then there wrong. Maybe after its not backordered it will calm down then we can. It's not the apple has stopped letting u. U can get iPad 2. I think it's because they charge u when shipped they won't know if ur still bill 2 account but I think the store should let u if they have them but there is none. Maybe this will be allowed after christmass. There almost backordered untill after christmass. Sorry for long thoughts. Does any believe what they told me because it seems sudden like the found it more popular so they changed rules after fact but telling the choice was made before. Personally I don't Totally believe because I trust gerio more.

I am eligible to bill to account but anyone that is an authorized by the primary can bill 2 account

I think initally, some people were able to get lucky and use b2a in-store before the stores were told that were not to allow b2a. A few people claimed to have been able to do so on these forums. So one of two things likely occurred...what I suggested (stores allowing it before knowing that they couldn't) or...you would have to assume that the users that claimed they got the 4s by using b2a were lying. Since there is no real way (or point) to discredit those users the thing that needs to be focused on now is what the rule appears to be now. Regardless of what anyone was able to do in the beginning the rule now appears to be that you can NOT use b2a. Those that really need to use this should continue to check periodically for when the option will be available. Ultimately it might just be quicker to come up with the money and pay for it (I've never b2a so I don't know how much time you have to pay off the device, but if you're expected to pay it off on your next billing statement in full then I personally don't get the uproar over not being able to delay paying the money a few weeks. If you get to stretch it out over several months as you could with a CC then I guess I get it) but if you're in no hurry then wait it out.

Well, this is my last comment on this subject since the notion of customers lying about getting iPhones on B2A has come up. Yeah, a 53-year-old guy really gets a big thrill out of lying on a user-driven forum. Fair enough.

I don't know who you people are dealing with. I got 2 iPhone 4Ss on B2A (one of them at full price, which I'm neither proud of nor happy about, but so be it). I'm getting another one as a gift in two weeks. Because of this discussion, I called my Verizon guy and checked on getting this third one on B2A. No problem, I was told. What the hell, go ahead and get it on the way, I said.

Done.

The rest of you are on yer own.

Maybe what I posted was misunderstood...I was not implying that anyone was lying...I was saying that based on people arguing if it was or wasn't possible to use b2a and some saying they have indeed been able to do so would mean that SOME people are trying to imply those that have claimed to be able to do so are lying. It is why I immediately followed up with saying that there is no way to actually discredit anyone that says they have been able to use b2a (ie, no one can say whether anyone on the internet is lying). Now, do people lie? Of course. It happens all of the time. And yes, even a 53 year old guy could do it because they get a thrill out of it (insert equal sarcasm). The point is and remains the same...for those that are being told that they can not use b2a and/or the iPhone is currently not eligible for it despite how many VZW reps they speak to in-store or over the phone will either need to come up with some other payment method to get the phone or wait until they are able to use b2a. If you're consistently successful at being able to use b2a even now then you're obviously luckier than any of the people that have been trying to do it and not having any success. Since you did mention that you called your Verizon guy you might want to help others out by perhaps sending business to your Verizon guy since for whatever reason he is able to make what no one else seems to be able or willing to do at VZW for those that really want to use this method. Of course, you're not obligated to help anyone out but it would be something I'm sure those interested in b2a would truly appreciate.

Either way, it's great that you get to use this method but it's really not worth getting upset over (or appearing to get upset) just because a reference to possible lying is mentioned. You know your truth and at the end of the day that's all that matters.

The ability to B2A with some/all phones may also have to do with your employee discount agreement if you have one. Some agreements may stipulate that B2A IS available on ALL phones.

Since it was brought up, I'll ask, and apologize if I asked before and forgot the answer.  If you use bill-to-account, is the entire amount due on your next billing statement, or is it broken up over several billing periods?

The entire amount is due on the next billing statement when phones are billed to your account.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Thanks Ann, that's what I thought.  For a minute there, I was wondering if it was like T-Mobile's Equipment Installment Program, but I see that it isn't.
