block call

I've got a kinda dumb question..... Is there a way to block a caller's call but not their text messages?

Good afternoon! At this time, there is no option to block calls while allowing the text messages from a blocked number. The best solution may be a third party app (if available in the App Store) or just simply ignoring the call will do the trick.

I was going to say u could call *611 to have them block the number because I know some phones u can't block text because visual voice mail runs with text so u need that open. Or check into usage controls? I wouldn't give up just because one person says no
