calls can only be made when connected to wifi

Phone continues to search for network and will only allow calls when connected to wifi.  We have reset the network settings and we have backed everything up and have erased the phone completely like it's brand new and it still will only allow calls to be made when connected to wifi.  Please help.

Hi binner2000,


Sorry you're having trouble making calls when not in Wifi. Thanks for providing all of that information for me. I'd like to ask you to power the phone off, remove the SIM card, wait for about 30 seconds, then re-insert the SIM card and power on. Then, turn off Wifi and try again.
