Is it just your home wifi network? Have you tried connecting to a wifi hotspot elsewhere like the ones at Starbucks?

yes even at work it doesn't work? even when my friends and family come over they cant connect

Here to help Ayres!

I'm sorry you're unable to connect to WiFi. I know how important it is to use whenever possible. How long have you had iPhone 4? Have you previously been able to connect to WiFi? What error do you get when trying to connect? The steps to connect are Settings> Tap Wi-Fi On> Select a Network> Enter information> Join.  Are you able to go through any of these steps?

Which software version do you have? You can view by going to Settings> General> Version
