My landline voicemail ignores code from my cell phone, but can get voicemail from someone else's cell
Hello, addwyn, we want to help ensure your voicemail is working correctly for you. When did you start running into an issue with your voicemail? I understand this is a problem between your cell phone and landline. To make sure we're on the same page, are you calling your cell phone from your landline or calling your landline from your cell phone? Also, can you please clarify what happens when calling your voicemail?

I have an iPhone XR. I became aware of this problem about 3 weeks ago. When I call my landline from my cell and the message from my answering machine begins, I have always put in my 2 digit code from my cell and the messages play. However, nothing happens when I do that now. To test it out, I have borrowed several cell phones to check my landline messages and it works on every phone (except mine). I spent literally hours on the phone with my answering machine tech support and also with Apple. I'm thinking that perhaps the tone sent from my cell to my landline has changed, but don't find where I could change it. Apple said the carrier is responsible for the tone. HELP!
Thanks for those additional details. When calling other numbers from your cell phone, are you able to use your keypad in automated systems without an issue? Is your software up to date currently?

I can use my keypad without other problems and my software is up to date.
