11/3 when I place my order.if no change by the weekend I will call and cancel it.Verizon should have made sure they had some before letting people order.I have my own business and this is just a very bad move on there part.

Well this is standard protocol for a backordered item I would say. Not wanting to offend but patience is key when a new iPhone is released and you miss the preorder date. No offense of course. Best of luck though.

I know I'm being patient myself. I know I'm getting an iPhone, it's just a matter of when. Just one day my card is going to get charged at any given time, that's the part that has me wondering. Then I'll know my order didn't get cancelled or have hiccup. I'm patiently waiting for my 12/13 ship date. Until then, I'll continue to enjoy my s8+.
