deleting old android phone gmai laccount

Verizon setup my new iphone se with a non working old gmail account from my old android phone. 

When I setup my new iphone we created a new gmail address.  How do I get old account off my phone and replace with new address which is the one on my apple ID

What ever mail app you are using just delete the Gmail account and set it up with the new Gmail address. Mary
