I switched from AT&T wifi back in May, 2023, and was told I would get a Home Deport $200 gift cert in 60 days. In July, I received am email where I was to choose Home Deport GC or another gift.. I clicked on Home Depot but NEVER received the coupon. I have called Verizon several times since 7/27 and they keep telling me that in 72 hours I will received the gift cert. This is not happening. WHAT DO I DO?????????

It has now been almost three months since I signed up for Home Internet with Verizon, after being promised a $200 Home Depot gift card in four to six weeks. Verizon has pretty much moved all their customer service to the Phillipines, or maybe Central America. When I do speak to someone on the phone, I usually cannot understand them. The conversation is usually 45 minutes of "thank you for your patience", "please stay on the line", then finally "you should receive a link from Verizon by September 5th to redeem your gift card." I do not in any way expect that to happen. They have lied to me repeatedly, and I will NEVER recommend Verizon to anyone again! And if they promise you something for changing service, do not believe them.
