im from venezuela and i bought an iphone from ebay and it says that it was unlocked, when i insert my sim card wasnt recognized then i realize it was locked so i want to know how can i unlocked from here.
i tried calling customer service and i need the phone number of the iphone and i dont have it.
i checked the imei and it is not reported as stolen and it shouldnt.

You will need to contact a third party unlocking service.
Verizon will only unlock it for Verizon customers who meet the eligibility requirements.
Otherwise, sell it and purchase a device that is compatible with your service in Venezuela.
Also it's not a good idea to post your IMEI in a public forum.
