how do I get my phone out of recovery mode?

When attempting to update to IOS 8.4, my phone became stuck in recovery mode. I have tried recovering or restoring from iTunes with no success.

Hello holtexcavation. Sorry to see your iPhone 6 is stuck in Recovery Mode. Sounds like you've done some good troubleshooting. Connecting to iTunes is exactly what I would have recommended. Can you help me get an idea what you're seeing when you try iTunes? What steps do you take? Are their any error messages or popups? If there are,w what do they say?
