@using the verizon cloud, how can i  back up my itunes purchased music, settings,,what to back up,,,only show contacts, photos,video as options, i phone 5

That's a great question!  I can understand your need to backup and safeguard your downloaded content.

Music and documents stored on Verizon Cloud can be streamed/accessed by using the Verizon Cloud app on iOS devices, but cannot be backed up from or downloaded to iOS devices.  However, you can utilize the iCloud feature to backup your media on your device.  See more details here: http://vz.to/1DyFsPV & http://vz.to/1DyFG9w.  Please let me know how this works out for you!
