iPad Pro M4 - eSIM not supported

Hi,
I purchased an iPad Pro M4 on 10th of May 2025 from UAE via an online seller and brought it to my country (Sri Lanka). When I tried to activate an eSIM via carrier in Sri Lanka it said eSIM not supported. However the mobile data had a Verizon sim and it didn’t have any active data plan since I brought the iPad in UAE and the sim was deleted accidentally when we tried to activate an eSIM in Sri Lanka. Please let me know how can I get this sorted and activate an eSIM from a Sri Lankan carrier since I will be using the iPad in Sri Lanka.
