iPhone 4 3G issues in the King of Prussia, PA area

This morning I have not been able to connect to 3G. I have all my bars and I have a 3G symbol displaying instead of the circle, but nothing will load for me. I wonder if it's a local outage or am I the only one having this problem in the area and need to contact customer service?

I'm having the same problem in Center City Philadelphia with my 4S, as is a friend of mine next door. Full bars, no data connection. But if I connect to wifi, I'm fine. I should add that it says 3G at the top, but the little circle keeps spinning. When I try to connect to a web site, e.g., it says no cellular connection and that I'm not subscribed to a data service. (Which simply is not true. Again, friend next door with a 4S is having the exact same problem.)

Same here in northern Delaware.  From Southern New Castle County to Wilmington, DE.  Between this reply and the other two comments, it's pretty obvious to be an outage.  No PR acknowledging the issue, tho.  Very poor cust service on VZN's part.  Even if cause or resolution is not known, submit a PR acknowledging it.

Ok, as least I know my phone isn't broken haha. Thank you for the input. I have a friend in the DelCo area with the same issue now too. Lovely... Hopefully this doesn't last long.

I keep on getting unable to connect server although I have 3G 4bars. I have reset everything. I'm in new Hampshire. Did everybody do the update? I just noticed the inconsistant server recently. As well as the right side back and front get very hot. Mostly the silver band on the right hand side

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I tried the "turn off the phone for 10 seconds" trick, which usually does it for me, and I am still experiencing the issue. I did the update and I did notice that this has been a common occurance since than but it hasn't been this bad untill today. So maybe Apple is to blame for this. I have not however noticed the temperature increase of the device. Although I believe people who do NOT have Verizon are not having issues today, will have to ask around more.

I'm still having it in Ephrata, PA since the very early morning hours.  Huge interruption to my work productivity (or lack thereof), that's for sure.  Yet I don't see any news coverage or announcements about it yet...
