iPhone 4 - iMessage issue

Since i updated my phone to iOS6, i am not able to send iMessages to anyone in my contacts. They are all being sent as text messages.

I have googled to try and find a fix and haven't found one yet.  Anyone have any suggestions?

I noticed the same thing.  I went to settings, scrolled to "messages" and noticed that the "iMessage" box was set to "off".  I alwasy had it ON but after I upgraded it must have changed the setting.  You may want to check this.
