iPhone 4 will only text and receive text from other iPhone only

Yesterday I along with 2 other members of my family upgraded to the iPhone 4 and now mine will only text and receive texts from iPhone? If I try to text someone that doesn't have an iPhone it will not go through or if someone tries to text me it will not go through?

What you need to do is go to your "setting>messages>send and receive"...do this on both of the phones and change it to where you only send and receive messages to your own phone number, 9 times out of 10 you have it connected to the email addresses as well...hope this helps!!!!
