iPhone 5 from verizon for use in Oman

I purchased an iPhone 5 from Oman from a store called "extra" and it had a Verizon wireless sim card in it. So I believe its an unlocked version from Verizon. Now my question is that my operator/service provider here is coming up with an Apple approved LTE network. Will my phone work on their LTE network. My phone's model is A1429.
