Check your credit card and see if the amount is now pending. One source told me that once that charge shows up on your card (not the $1 authorization, the total amount on your confirmation), that means you're allocated. Hopefully!

Yup... Somewhere around 2am PT I got the tracking info too- now I can go back
about my normal waiting!

Still nothing my way. Ordered at 305 am EST and got order confirmation around 325 - $1 hold removed from credit card but no charge and delivery info still not available at this time.... I feel crazy constantly refreshing my order status and credit card!!!!

packman13- I had the initial $1 come and go a few times (don't feel crazy, a lot of us were/are refreshing both Verizon and our bank sites for any clues!).
My sequence of events was:
9/12 1210am PT - order placed and confirmed on VZW site
9/12 1240am PT - confirmation email with 9/19 date
9/13 305pm PT - credit report inquiry notification (I'm a new/returning customer so they had to do that too)
9/14-9/15 - nothing changed, reps didn't have a clue, stories changed, frustration grew
9/16 243pm PT - Alert from Amex of a card not present transaction (full price of phone)
9/17 143am PT - email from VZW asking to confirm email address
9/17 405am PT - email from VZW with UPS tracking info
Hang in there ... you still have today for it to go out - but one of the reps did say to me that if you didn't get a tracking # by Wednesday, you probably wouldn't have the phone Friday.
