Flying back and forth between DC and Chicago, I put my phone in airplane mode. When I turn off airplane mode, it works fine but the time is not updated. If I power the phone off and on, it updates the time. I'd rather the time update automatically as I'm used to.
steve1021, we know how important it is to stay updated with the correct time, especially when you are traveling across the country. It can take time for the phone to update everything, after being off the network for a while, and this can cause a delay in the time updating. Powering the phone off and back on helps to expedite process, as it refreshes your phone on the network. Does that make sense? You can also go to Settings>General>Date & Time to be sure that the date and time are set to automatically update. http://spr.ly/6605E25rx
