Sorry to repost, but it wouldn't let me edit my previous post and 'mark it as a question'...
Had this problem for a few months now.... Been to the store, logged numerous calls with Verizon tech support and still no solution yet.
Is anyone else having problems receiving MMS messages - I.e. Particularly group or picture messages from MMS; NOT apple iMessage? Lot of people I work with and family dont have iPhones and if we are attempting to group text or anyone sends me pics or video MMS messages - they NEVER come in or they take 1-3 days before being received on my phone.
Already have reset network settings dozens of times, upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone 6S Plus, swapped SIM cards, had completely removed from and then added back to Verizon network (their tech support did this), performed a factory restore on the handsets... I'm out of ideas on the verge of switching since its been two months and all Verizon is telling me to do is buy an android. Currently have two more NRB trouble tickets open and its appears their network techs don't care one bit about a single person having what purely sees like network problems since its now occurred on two different phones i've had with them.
Anyone had similar problems or have any advice what to try?
Settings > Messages > MMS should be on (green)
It is and has been... Group messaging has always been enabled to. Wish it were that simple but it's a network issue with Verizon, not a handset issue... Been through multiple handsets and SIM cards.
have you noticed any type of pattern? is it the same person that's sending the message?
At first I thought so with just one phone, but then as different people I work with who all have android phones (or basically any phone not running iOS) tried group texting or pic messaging me - I simply wouldn't ever receive them or they would come in about 2-3 days later all in big bunches.
We're here for support. May we ask if you're experiencing these difficulties only when connected to a WiFi network or to your mobile network?
It's a combo of both. Doesn't particularly matter if I'm connected to wifi or on cellular. In addition, the same problem occurs if at my home calling area or somewhere else on Verizon's cellular network
It is alarming to see this has been occurring all over. Let's keep digging here. Does it happen with every MMS or does it happen at random? Have you tried any other Messaging apps besides the one that comes on the iPhone? If so, did you notice a difference? If not, can you try downloading Verizon Messages to see if there is a difference?

I haven't tried any other messaging app as I don't think it's the phone that has the issues. I upgraded devices two months ago from an iPhone 6 Plus to and iPhone 6S Plus and set it up as a brand new phone without restoring the old information. BOTH phones have had the same MMS problem - hence why I upgraded. SIM cards have been swapped, hardware was replaced and even my new phone now - the iPhone 6S Plus has gone through a factory reset and re-install of everything in order to try to find a remedy to this problem.

Thanks for keeping me updated. Let’s take a closer look.
How often does this occur? Is it happening with every MMS message? Are you experiencing any problems sending MMS messages?
